چکیده

TXS 0506+056 is a blazar that has been recently identified as the counterpart of neutrino event IceCube-170922A. Understanding type important to constrain emission mechanism, but nature still uncertain. As an attempt understand 0506+056, we report medium-band observation results covering wavelength range 0.575 1.025 $\mu$m. The use filters allow us examine if there were any significant changes in its spectral shapes over course one month and give better constraint on peak frequency synchrotron radiation with quasi-simultaneous datasets. found be $10^{14.28}$ Hz, our analysis shows not outlier from sequence. way determine type, also analyzed bluer-when-brighter (BL Lac some flat spectrum radio quasars, FSRQs) or redder-when-brighter (found only FSRQs). Even though detect no variability shape larger than observational error during period, comparison dataset taken at 2012 possible behavior FSRQs. Our demonstrate observations small moderate-sized telescopes can effective trace evolution transients such 0506+056.

the effect of classroom observation on eflteachers skills ans students outcomes

abstract the following study, in the first place, attempted to examine the effect of less experienced teachers participation in experienced teachers classes on their own skills and teaching methodology, in the second place, attempted to find out the role of teachers training in students achievements. for this purpose, 21 efl teachers were selected according to available sampling in kish l...

Compact Lyman-α Emitting Candidates at z ≃ 2.4 in Deep Medium-band HST WFPC2 Images

Medium-band imaging with HST/WFPC2 in the F410M filter has previously revealed a population of compact Lyman-α emission objects around the radio galaxy 53W002 at z ≃ 2.4. We report detections of similar objects at z ≃ 2.4 in random, high-latitude HST parallel observations of three additional fields, lending support to the idea that they constitute a widespread population at these redshifts. The...

Suzaku observation of TeV blazar the 1ES 1218+304: clues on particle acceleration in an extreme TeV blazar

We observed the TeV blazar 1ES 1218+304 with the X-ray astronomy satellite Suzaku in May 2006. At the beginning of the two-day continuous observation, we detected a large flare in which the 5−10 keV flux changed by a factor of ∼2 on a timescale of 5×10 s. During the flare, the increase in the hard X-ray flux clearly lagged behind that observed in the soft X-rays, with the maximum lag of 2.3×10 ...

Observation of electron neutrino appearance in a muon neutrino beam.

The T2K experiment has observed electron neutrino appearance in a muon neutrino beam produced 295 km from the Super-Kamiokande detector with a peak energy of 0.6 GeV. A total of 28 electron neutrino events were detected with an energy distribution consistent with an appearance signal, corresponding to a significance of 7.3σ when compared to 4.92±0.55 expected background events. In the Pontecorv...

Efficiency of Medium-Band Surveys

We simulate multi-color surveys, which use the same telescope time on different filter sets of broad-band and medium-band filters. We use a photometric classification method for identifying stars, galaxies and quasars and for estimating multi-color redshifts of extragalactic objects. A library of > 65000 color templates is used for comparison with observed objects. Spectroscopy from the CADIS s...
